His recent statements sound like he knows it is over and we probably won't see him much again. His quality of life sucks right now and I hope he gets that back to enjoy the rest of his life pain free with his kids.

Here is a link to the Time interview:

Here is an ESPN discussion about Tiger's statements at his tournament and the Time interview:

Surprised no mention of any of this from @WhiteBus, @RU85inFla or @JPhoboken, etc. Sad to see him like this.

Speaking of WhiteBus, was he banned or something? Have not seen him in a few weeks on here.

It could very well be the end. I don't think at 40 with all the injuries you can make any other assumption at this time.

I do wonder how much Tiger himself really believes his future is in doubt. For a while now he's been saying he's close to being "back" only to have it fall apart again. He just may be tired of all the questions and is saying this stuff to take any pressure off a comeback in the future.

Golf is different than many other sports. A pitcher can go out and be lights out for one game. A QB can reach down and make that 1 winning drive. In golf, you have to do it 4 times in a row to have a chance. If you look at majors especially, the over 40 crowd is often in it only to have that one round where they can't get it done. Consistency is often where they fail. We've seen it with Couples and Phil in recent years where when it starts to go south, they can't recover.

He's done. Great career, but he will never be at the level again. Too much young talent that is better than him now, especially with the injuries stacking up.

Sounds like the best case might be he just has a normal life moving forward.

His Time interview was very revealing. You can hear him saying, I just want to be healthy enough to enjoy my life and kids. He will not push through the pain and injuries any more. It is over.

Tiger made some very serious mistakes in his personal life. I could care less about all his money, I truly and genuinely hope the man is ok physically and mentally. I'm not saying he is Charlie Sheen but he messed around with sleazy women for a while. I loved and hated watching Tiger. I hated the way he dominated the sport and loved some of the near impossible shots he made throughout his career. The epic battle with Chris DiMarco during the Masters was unbelievably exciting.

Tiger is not done. I think it was Vijay SIngh who won something like 20 tournaments after turning 40. Tiger could easily double that. He just needs to find a good woman who will stick with him.
