good thread.

I like your choices and agree. I do have one possible alternative for the 3rd:

1) Williams
2) Corey
3) I agree with Freeman...especially how hard he has come on lately. I do think you could make an argument for Corey here also.

nailed it :sunglasses:...although Nigel was coming on late for #3.

most consistent..CJ?

I also thought that CJ was a strong candidate for number 3. He really is a smart player who finds a way to contribute. He has certain skills that remind me of an old school center. I think if he loses 20 to 30 pounds and worked on his flexibility, he can make good money overseas.

The key to next season is who becomes the candidates for question 1. Based on where we are now, I am excited to see who progresses. It has been a long time since players improved like they did this year.

GREAT questions. I agree with all of the answers. Deshawn, especially was very lost on the offensive end of the floor, especially with his moves to the basket inside of 12 feet. He was so frustrated. I believe this coaching staff worked with him on his inside game, AND he found confidence in an outside game. Now he often receives the ball within the offense behind the 3 point line, and with his improved outside shooting, the defender needs to respect him as an outside threat. COMPLETELY different than the beginning of the B1G season. He is a more well rounded player offensively and he is more productive as a result.

On top of that, his free throw shooting has improved considerably.

HUGE improvement since January. Kudos to Deshawn and the coaching staff. Very excited to see Deshawn and this team play at least two games in the B1G tournament!
