Team down to last three outs. Down 4-2 in bottom of 8th. Bats have not been active and Coppola had a rough first inning (all 4 runs allowed so far).

Not blaming young Mr.Coppola but… this was a game Rutgers needed badly if only to make a statement that we came to win this series 3-0. It seems almost without question that we leave our will to win when most needed. It has been a typical Rutgers lament for too many years. Like losing to Cincinnati and West Virginia in football 2006. Or the plow the field game when up at the half against who else? WVU. Mr. Coppola was not the problem… Minnesota wanted it more yesterday.
