Tom Luicci is a bunghole

...do we really need to break out RU coaches' debut opponents? Let's look at the last 4:

-Tulane
-#14 Washington
-Villanova
-Buffalo

...no difference there.

This board's obsession with Tom Luicci is kind of spooky. Besides, you should hear what I say about some former employers ...

Wasn't he hired by Julie' and then let go and Hobbs and ash came in? Doesnt it did explain that he has no love at all for the current administrati head oach

He knew full well that he was being brought in to provide urgently needed communications expertise / hand-holding for a "dumpster fire" damage control situation. He may have thought that he could step into this role & then cruise to retirement - but if he did seriously think that he was a naive idiot - - anybody in this business knows that once the fuel source for the "dumpster fire" was eliminated & the situation stabilized - there would shortly be no need for a premium priced hand-holder.

So after 1 game he's making a Littlepage analogy with relation to Ash's coaching? Every time Luicci tweets something about Rutgers he is making an absolute and total fool of himself. Doesn't he realize how pathetic he's making himself look? If he's bitter for being canned so be it but the fact that he can't control himself publicly shows that he is what we thought he is. Hopefully, Twitter users won't let him off the hook.

And didnt that run include two very talented players (40% of the starting lineup) that transferred into Rutgers after Wenzel got here?
Duncan and Hughes didn't play that first year. They were eligible the next year where amidst great anticipation we finished tied for 5th in the Atlantic 10 and got selected to the NIT thanks to our ability to sell tickets. I think we were the first team to get selected with a .500 record.

Wenzel's first year was magical but the Atlantic 10 was god awful that year. If WVU hadn't gotten upset in the conference tournament it would've gotten the only NCAA bid. The best team we best that year was probably Temple who was a first round NIT loser. For the first time since the Young era we didn't actually lose a player to a medical redshirt. Luicci's memory may be a little hazy. He was covering Seton Hall back then.

Sorry guys but attacking Lucci for this post is out of line. He is 100% unequivocally correct.
And a classic example of biased journalism. A journalist can be technically correct and still biased, depending on how he cherrypicks his facts and the context in which they are used.

CORRECTION: It is not biased journalism, because Luicci is no longer a journalist, no more than any other twitter user is.

FACT: JoeRU0304 has won football championships as both a player and an assistant coach.

...now, nevermind this was junior football, facts are facts, correct? Maybe I should be coaching D1A ball.

Did you get a trophy? It is probably prominently displayed in the man cave. "#thepunt" is nothing but a wise acre comment, not professional in any shape or form.

But doesn't this clarify all those times when he was a journalist and fans thought he was being too snarky... too dismissive.. too negative.. that they were correct.. that he wasn't just "reporting the truth".

The OP is correct. Classic case of terminal bungholitis.

While his tweet was factually correct, it was intentionally misleading and salty as hell. There is no denying that he is still incredibly bitter at this point.

#thepunt was classless and unnecessary. He came across as a whiney child. Time to grow up Tom.

...though honestly it was only at the house for a few days; we made sure it went to the field house with the other ones the program has won. It's the kids' trophy, not the adults'. We made the Super Bowl agin last season and did the same with that trophy as well.

Virginia lost to Richmond which to me is maybe worse because you lost to FCS school. And lost by 17.

So he reports the obvious and that makes him a bunghole? I think you just like typing bunghole..:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
