this year has been a real roller coaster ride and we have 7 league wins when many here were just hoping we could get more than 3.
First half was a combination of PSU coming to play and RU showing its youth by making way too many mistakes. Baker may well have had the worst game of his entire career which didn't help the situation since he is an important cog in the wheel when he is on the court.
But, instead of just rolling over down as many as 20, the team showed its grit and made it a game down to the last seconds. These tough losses are actually a sign of improvement over the past years when we just got our asses handed to us.
Does anyone actually think the PSU players got on the bus after the game thinking they really showed RU something? A collective "Whew" is what I think.
Anyway, we finish with Indiana which is yet another critical game to both schools for the BIG tourney and having momentum.
No matter what happens Sunday, this season has been a great one and I am really looking forward to next season already which is a hell of a lot better than how I feel about our football team.
