I enjoyed it personally.
I did. I loved every minute of it. I would have turned it off early with the big lead if the starters were left in. Seeing rarely used players have some or even a lot of success made if fun to watch

You were right originally. The Big East hired Tagliabue as a consultant around the time we got the B1G invite when he trashed Minnesota-Rutgers. What he did for the league aside from this I have no idea

It’s a reference to comments that Paul Tagliabue made back in 2010, when there were rumors that we were going to get invited to the Big Ten and leave the Big East. I still think that we should have a rivalry trophy with Minnesota called the Tagliabue Trophy.

I hope those LI Tennis Clubs have indoor courts. It's a bit too chilly to be playing outdoors.
And it was almost definitely in reference to a Rutgers-Minnesota football game (given Tagliabue is an NFL guy and he mentions Saturday) rather than hoops, or any other sport. And with that said, this past fall's result of said matchup in football could have garnered a similar post but in Minnesota's favor obviously. 31-0 was a tough one to swallow. Last night was a bit of payback when viewed as both sports collectively.
