Osh Brown is the all-time leading rebounder for Ball State and one of just two players in program history to post over 1,000 career points and rebounds.

Lasha Petree played three seasons at Bradley The 6-footer was a two-time First Team All-MVC selection, as well as a two-time MVC academic honor roll recipient. The now senior led the Hawks last season in scoring with 18.0 points per game

Victoria Morris is a 5’9” guard that led Old Dominion in scoring and minutes played last season. She was a two-time Second Team All-Conference USA selection

Arkansas transfer Jailyn Mason, a 5’9” guard started 97 of 98 games in her first three seasons at Arkansas,

Sayawni Lassiter is a 5’10 point guard who transferred from

Florida State where she was a four-time All-ACC academic honor roll recipient. Lassiter was voted Defensive Player of the Year for the Seminoles by the program and should fit right in with Stringer’s style of play.

5’10” guard Shug Dickson is transferring from Missouri An experienced player who could be productive in whatever role she takes on next season. Rutgers will be the fourth school , beginning her career at Tulsa and then Texas Tech.

In addition to the six transfers, Stringer and the coaching staff signed two players in the 2021 recruiting class in JUCO All-American Awa Sidibe and 4-star point guard Kierra Sanderlin.

Sidibe is a 5’11” guard was the two-time Scenic West Athletic Conference Player of the Year for Salt Lake Community College in Utah.

Sanderlin finished her high school career as an All-State selection, She is tailor made for Rutgers and could flourish in Stringer’s system.

Thanks for the summary. Sounds like a good group coming in.

This is a very unusual year all around the country and in all sports in that many schools seem to have more transfers than freshmen coming in. That is obviously due to the extra year of eligibility granted to anyone wanting it. While some might think that this is bringing a new level of instability to college sports, when I see the number of grad transfers, I look at it through academic filters and am happy to see so many athletes taking advantage of being able to further their education.
