Glad to see that. It always pissed me off how people from Providence College ran the Big East all those years. They wound up running it into the groundArkansas killing Providence.
FDU is really good, I bet they could beat us if they played us........wait a second......we beat them by 35. :scream:
Daumination!Texas in death match late vs S Dakota St
Post up, kick it out, swing it around... it's what our offense would look like with better shootersBelmont's offense is pretty nice....did pretty much what they wanted.
didnt realize that Temple pushed Dunphy.....I wonder if St Joe's actually gives him a call
man I love this Belmont team
Harlan also is a outstanding NFL radio play by play announcer.is there a better voice for college hoops games than Kevin Harlan? My favorite
I think it was Rothstein who called them “Harvard on the Hackensack”Shout out to FDU for getting their first NCAA Tournament win in school history.

Look, I'm not going to say it was all bad leadership, but the fact that you believe it was due to crappy football shows how bad they were at PR.Maybe that is because the Providence guy created the conference to start with. Just a hint it was not them who killed it it was the crappy football product and the backstabbing of football schools such as BC and Pitt.

I mean seriously who would say were the good teams. I will give you West Virginia was pretty good but who else out of Syracuse, Rutgers, Pitt . BC . UConn were any good?
Miami, V-tech, Louisville were all good football programs in the Big East.
Ok forgot about Louisville they were ok . Miami and Virginia Tech wanted to play in the ACC and there was no way you were going to stop that. They had more in common with those schools. I really don't blaime them either.
Have those schools, Pitt , BC, Penn St , RU andFair argument. But, the point is that when the Big East had Louisville, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Miami and Syracuse, it was not the "crappy football product" you describe. The Big East's failure to keep those football schools happy is what led to the conference's demise.
Have those schools, Pitt , BC, Penn St , RU and
Cinn, Memphis & UCF you'd have a fairly good conference.
