@Richard Schnyderite I tried posting a twitter link from my phone this AM and got an error message. Tried again from my laptop and got the same message. I'm now seeing the same messages now for people who have already posted links prior to today. Is it Rivals or Twitter with the issue?

Elon Musk has been breaking Twitter ever since he bought it. Now people who use TFA to log back in can't.

Yea, I'm not privy to what rivals uses in their architecture to show the Twitter posts, but this is likely related to his mass shutdown of Twitter microservices.

Yea I already asked him about this morning in the games thread and there’s a glitch currently they’re working on.

Musk ordered all of the Twitter microprocesses shut down yesterday because "only 20% of them actually do anything."

Elmo is kind of an idiot.
Well today he's right. 80 % of those micro services definitely aren't doing anything....

Site linking is broken. So is 2FA.

I was entirely neutral on the guy (no so much the silly Teslarati, but they aren't him) - clearly bright, but hindered by his ego. And that's neither uncommon nor the worst thing, IMO.

Then he started embarrassing himself with his blabbing about twitter and free speech where he clearly had no idea what he was talking about. Even then I remained largely neutral about him - just very amused at his expense when the twitter purchase fiasco blew up in his face. All he had to do was listen to his own people but nope, he knew better.

But since he's actually completed the take-over, some of his actions have been stupidly heavy-handed, ill-conceived and thoughtless. He's behaving like a blunt instrument in situations where a bit more surgical approach is called for.

He's really starting to seem like a waste of talent and resources. But we'll see, I guess.

Pretty sure he doesn't GAF what anybody thinks, so at least he's got that and a a bit less than $200B going for him.

Yup, noticed the system upgrade very early this morning. Love how they do it now with no notice.
Seriously? They do upgrades without letting the site owners/managers know? Users don't really need to know (although a notification would be nice), but you guys really ought to be in the loop.
