Corey 1-6 from the line
Lewis 1 rebound in 23 minutes

(Also noteworthy: Lewis, normally a high-percentage shooter, 0-4 from the field)

its only 3 games but I am very disappointed in Lewis. I thought he would take a leap forward his senior year even a litte bit but he seems way off and that sucks because he is going to need to play a lot of minutes

Let's call like it is: Lewis SUCKED out there tonight. He was awful. He couldn't hit the broad side of a barn if his life depended upon it. Why he suddenly thinks he can shoot from 12 and 15 feet is beyond me. And please, don't pass it to him. He has bricks for hands. The guy seems to have regressed from last year.

Because he CAN shoot from 12 to 15 feet. He might be the only one on the team that can. But he has reverted to pre-2015 form this season with the fouling and the poor body language. Hoping it's temporary. If not, we are screwed worse than I can imagine.

Could have fooled me tonight. He was awful. I mean just awful out there. The best place for him was when Jordan took him out and he remained on the bench. This kid just doesn't have the IQ to compete. He has regressed. Let's hope it's just a blip and he figures it out, because we need him the rest of the way.

Lewis was bad but he does have a nice looking 15 foot shot when open. Not sure why he could not board nor pass.

The way Corey gets to the rim he must convert from the foul line.

I'll say it on this thread... those who don't think EJ can coach basketball are fools. I can appreciate their hatred of losing though.

The logic is mind boggling...Lewis was 0-4....rational people would say he had a bad shooting game and a bad game overall,....it happens in basketball. The same way Sanders had a bad shooting game from the line with his 1-6.

Lewis can hit the open 12 footer, but he cannot and should not be trying to create his own shot. There are times when he gets the ball, and he's determined to take the shot, good or bad. Can't do it. Shots have to come within the flow of the game. Greg doesn't seem to get this.

Just about everybody on this team has had times when they seem to determined to shoot no matter what - Foreman, Laurent, Sanders, Diallo have by far been the worst offenders in that department. Much worse than Lewis. At least Lewis is capable of making some of the shots he takes. I have a bigger problem with his fouling and 1 rebound in 23 minutes than his shot selection. He can be a big positive team if he plays like he did most of last year. We need that guy.

SJU shot 32.3% from the floor. Their best player went 3-14 from the floor because Corey was in the kids jock all game. Those stats alone against a pretty bad SJU team should be enough to win that game.

Corey will learn he has to run the offense better and get guys (Freeman!) their touches. Nine assists for us as a team isn't good enough. Clearly we are better on November 20th in transition than in our half court. Freeman will learn that even when he isn't getting his touches he can impact the game in the other ways as 4 rebounds in 28 minutes isn't enough. His doubles on Mussini were solid. His rotations after the double back into position to get on the glass weren't. One rebound in 23 minutes from Greg. That needs to be better.

Not happy with the loss as I really felt up 14 with 14 minutes to go and us stifling SJU offensively we were in really good position. Then they hit a couple shots, we missed free throws and they DOMINATED us on the boards. Impressed with the kid Sima. He owned the paint. Really shouldn't happen when we have a 5th year Senior in the post.

Ruman, you shit n Lewis twice already. Give it a rest.

Lewis' body language changed when he got his 3rd foul. He was so afraid of picking up a fourth that he was completely passive.

No explaination for 1 rebound.

When you are 6 9, you are right. Something happened. Hopefully he makes a change.

Same thing happened against Howard - Lewis stopped playing defense. If he's going to play selfishly when in foul trouble then his butt needs to be on the bench.

The only stat that matters is 59 points scored which won't win most games.
