It's still early in the Ash era, we don't have to be an Ohio St., we can be an Iowa, majority 3* recruits with sprinkling of a few 4*, develop the players, have great game planning. It's going to take years of success before we can even think about having recruiting classes that can compete with Ohio St., but I'll take Wisc or Iowa to start to emulate classes and build from that model.

Me too. But remember, Hayden Fry's Iowa didn't become "Hayden Fry's Iowa" until he got his Chuck Long. Maybe Oden, Lewis or somebody else in the near future could be our Chuck Long in a spread version.

Commitments to other schools can have a direct impact on your program. The commitment of these 2 receivers effectively takes tOSU out of the running for Markquese Bell (who listed tOSU as one of his top choices) who I do believe your coaches are still actively recruiting.

As your program becomes more successful you will learn not to be so myopic as to ignore the impact of recruits that your school may not have been chasing.

Also I did not post this with any trash talk, I simply posted an event that people who follow recruiting may have interst in.

As another Buckeye, I have absolutely no idea what the point of the original post was on a Rutgers board. Agree, I also know tons of Buckeye fans that pulling for Rutgers and coach Ash ! Hope you win every game but one :) !
