Did something happen to Tyson Dippery? Thanks. $$$$

He sits one match, doesn't mean he will not wrestle the next match
It is about matchups.
He didn't go from looking like a NCAA qualifier to someone who isn't going to be on the team in 1 match.

I think someone on this board said he is having problems with the weight cut.

PS: All i know about the team is what i read on here and from watching mATCHES.

Best of luck to Tyson. Seems like a great kid... a true warrior for even trying to make 133.

The weight cut was just too much it looks like. It's fine to cut weight, but if your health becomes a concern due to it, it's just time to stop. He gave it a helluva go though.

What is it with 133lbers (excluding Delvecchio) at RU and weight issues? Lol... But seriously, kudos to Dippery for even attempting to get down there...Also kudos to Delvecchio for keeping his head up and waiting for an opportunity...Then making the most of it...

Is Dippery done wrestling, transferring? What's with all the best wishes ?

What do we do next year at 133? Does Mackall wrestle at 125 and Paetzall bulk up to 133?
Scotty D mans 33. We are going to have a logjam at 49 though assuming AA goes 41. Giraldo, Dippery, and I beleive younger van brill will be in hunt at 49 next year?

Thank you for clearing that up. For some reason I thought DelV was a RS senior. So then no worries there. Deluca as well will be there...maybe he backs up Lewis at 157 and JVB hits the weights and bulks up to 165. Pagano will likely start at 174 but Grello/Donner can push for time after RSing. Next year on paper we should have our best team ever.

or the other way around. Paetzall RS next year while Mackall mans 125 and Del at 133. Year after a more muscular Paetzall still at 125 but Mackall moves up to 133.

or something else happens. tough to predict even 1 year out.

There seems to be some expectations for Mackall . Has Mackall developed since HS? How has he looked in the room?

I was mistaken. I thought Dipp was a senior this year, so I was saying best wishes because if not at 133, he would presumably only see action if Ashnault got hurt this year. Unfortunately, that may be the case next year as well, but I guess he should be able to go back up and compete at 149.

Mack all was doing ok before he had to have surgery on his shoulder. I would think the coaches would like to see Brandon Zap at 125 for his career here.

Not trying to degrade our kids I know they work hard and I'm sure are great people. But are we looking at any heavyweights in the near future? It just seems like we're conceding that weight class. The current stable just doesn't seem B1G ready.

I talked to him last night and it is the weight cut. This kid is one terrific young man. I hope he goes to 149 and challenges Theo and Giraldo. Love that kid as he were my son. A true RU warrior.
Agree Bill. The kid has his head on straight and is a terrific representative for our university. He is the kind of person you will always root for in life.

Best team ever?? I hope your right. We will still have hole at HWT and 197 Muligan is a redshirt Frosh. Shouldn't put to much on him and just let him improve
