Uniforms Uniforms Uniforms

Congratulations. As you can read to what I said there is something called replays, announcers, video ribbons that say after EVERY PLAY who made the play if you can't read.

It's not a big deal to me and not a big deal to many people if changes haven't been made after all the complaining this board has been doing for the past 3 years. They hear you complaining and they don't care.
This is a mind numbing response. First you talk about listening to PA announcers and reading ribbons. Really?? Do you just watch replays than? How about during the live action??
But you are right that Nike doesn't care...at all.
Plus they will never admit making a mistake. And Rutgers is stuck with it. They sold their sole for the Nike $

I apologize for not knowing your children are gurus of football.

Uniforms were reviewed and picked out by RU. If you think they didn't realize they made numbers SMALLER AND SILVER then i don't know what to tell any of you. There were most likely several concepts to choose from and items to pick and choose from each one.

But keep complaining because it seems to be working well. Not everyone cares like you do, it's not a big deal to most whether you want to believe it or not. You can't tell someone how to enjoy themselves.

I agree Pete, and I'm glad you don't mind. My kids are obviously not gurus, I like them to see and identify with their favorite players by number. I still root and cheer and have a great time, but I get frustrated when I'm not sure who's on the field.
Give me numbers I can see, that's all I ask, no need to change the basic new concept

Uniforms need a much darker red and they need to figure out how the numbers can be read easier. I like the style of the unis.

Of course, I prefer our black unis.

Please, you want my kids to identify with the announcer or a replay, instead of identifying players before the play takes place…great.
I identify with player personal and packages, I want no confusion on my part who's in the game before the play is run. You don't care, you get your info from ribbons and PA announcers… that's fine, I don't watch a game that way, I never have and never will.

Its HIM, Zap.. not you.

Red uniforms are not going away and have been used for many years now, even if they were just an alternative before.

I'm not a numbertard, I could care less, as I was never able to see them from the stands. I can be patient and look at a replay or watch the sideline boards as to who just made the last play. 10 seconds delay won't kill me.
I'm not advocating for getting rid of red uniforms, obviously we are the Scarlet Knights and red is the main color. I have no idea how you inferred that from my post. Also I don't know what the hell a "numbertard" is, and I think what you mean to say is that you could NOT care less, but obviously if so many other people have a problem with the numbers, something is wrong. Just because you don't want to read the numbers anyway doesn't mean they are fine. Why do we need a delay to figure out after each play who did what when we could have just known who it was as the play was happening? If they just made the numbers white, this wouldn't be an issue. Even the announcers that you rely on to tell you who made the play often comment that they have a hard time reading the numbers on our uniforms.

Uniforms were not reviewed by Rutgers. Rutgers gave some ideas, some history and Nike and Nike made the 3 versions. Rutgers is bound by contract to use them as is. Period.
