It was nice for the first time in a few years to be able to see the numbers and names on the uniforms and knowing who was on the field.

Uniforms looked awesome--couldn't make it to the game but the Howard uniform numbers looked really faint on tv. Could people actually read the numbers on their jerseys from the stands?
plain, boring, crappy... looks like children's clothes at walmart on a discount day
Maybe a tweak or two to a couple of the numbers. But they look like Rutgers now, now Western Kentucky or Fresno State.
I'm not a fan either. Nice to see the numbers though.
Yup - don't like them. Something is missing can't put my finger on it - maybe the numbers are too big or the font.
Not a fan of them either and also heard many others saying the same. Just way too plain and blah. Last year's uniforms were awesome- just had to fix up the color and number Issue of the home battle scar uni's. I would even rather the Greg Schiano era "plain" uniforms vs what we have now. Those were awesome too.
But whatever .. We can look a hell of a lot better winning games and do it in pajamas for all I care. Just win.

Don't care much about uniforms - do care about being able to see the numbers - so I guess I like the new uniforms, lol...
Obviously whether one likes the new uniforms is a matter of personal taste with no right or wrong answer. A more objective question is whether the new uniforms have achieved the objective which Ash had previously stated - a more traditional look, yet distinctively Rutgers. My opinion on that is a strong yes.

No one in my section is thrilled with the unis . Very underwhelming but you can the numbers. Couldn't we have made the numbers visible and yet still had a good looking uni ?
I don't like the font of the numbers but love that I could read them on TV. Color scheme was fine with me.
Our helmets are freaking ugly.... the black and white can stay but the red with the block R has got to go.
agree 100%. Nice and clean look is a million times better than the home jerseys last year
I would appreciate if every fan who purchased the jerseys between the 2012 and 2015 seasons just threw them in an incinerator. They were horrific and because of them I literally missed 4 years of players performing because I had no idea who was playing.

I'd like to see the pants stripe (dual) and the should stripe (single) match. Pick one. And I'd lie older block-style numbers. Do the gloves make a Block R? Looks like it. I guess I miss the R on the pants... I think we were out front on that design.

I was in Scarlet Fever a couple of weeks ago. They had an old jersey and a new jersey side by side. The color is EXACTLY the same. I was surprised myself. The numbers and the battle scars are creating a color illusion.
Shhh...stop making sense, it won't be well received.
Think the issue is the shoulder/sleeve area - I'd get rid of this checkerboard pattern on the sleeve and white stripe on the shoulder and replace them with either TV numbers on the shoulders with 2 horizontal white stripes on the sleeve or TV numbers on the shoulder and a white border on the edge of the sleeve.
But get rid of the checkerboard pattern on the sleeve.

Chainmail/ email it looks like shit & it's way to subtle - your probably 1 in a 1,000 people who knew that..but give you credit for knowing it!
There is too little of it on the uni to notice it - so get rid of it or make it more prominent.
