USC PSU Game Thread

The new 'most interesting man in the world' is a very weak replacement for the original. The new one actually looks like Michael Phelps w a beard.
That commercial blows so bad it's unbelievable. The skits, the writing, the lack of creativity, all of it should be scrapped for something else.

Haven't been watching the game and just seen the Nits are ahead 42-27. Half it was USC up 27-21 after hearing USC was killing Penn St in the first quarter.
Not intreasted in seeing Penn St play and not a big fan of USC, but after seeing posts here checked score and it looks like RU will be hearing about this game all of the off-season

Guess this game might wind up being karma for the Playoff committee for not including the the B1G Champions , but including the school they defeated instead.
Don't like to see the Nits win, but they were playing for respect and they might just have won it from the college football world, especially the way OSU lost to Clemson.

I'm out of breath just watching this game on my cushy recliner.
Might be time for a gym enrollment.

As an ex NJSIAA on field official, I can tell you making split second calls with the action swirling around you, is not easy. And these officials have the fastest athletes in the world playing.
Fortunately they have replay review on scoring plays and other plays. USC fans not happy w this ACC crew.

That's just flat out wrong, no way that kid should have been eject. Ref's beginning to decide this one. What a shame was a good game.

He launched himself head first into the QB. Sorry, but that's targeting.

Yes targeting but the late hit was bullcrap call. That one was terrible, kid jumped over McSorley.

I'm not a fan of this targeting rule. I get that they're trying to protect the qb, but I don't think it should be an instant ejection.

First personal foul was a bad call. Second one was accurate, and just a ridiculously stupid move by the USC player.

The first call when he slid was horse shit

But that was text book targeting. Stupid play by the usc player

You are obviously not familiar with theerules. Pretty cut and dry targeting.

In your defense, you dont see this too often watching RU football because the pace of play is a lot slower. (I know, the joke would have worked a lot better if the offense was referenced but this was all I had to work with. )

7 TDs, cripes ! 49-35, and still not over. McSorely and Barkely having Bowl games for the ages.

Hey Abro, I know you're just joking, but when watching the Jints Superbowl win a few years ago, they made a great play and I let out of big, "YES!" Felt a tightness in my lower jaw. Went away right away. Had it checked out. 95% blockage in my right coronary artery. Had a stent put in.

Bottom line: Don't (anybody) screw around with funny feelings (not pain, heaviness in the jaw). Stress test takes no time at all. Have two brothers with open heart, one with a stent. Stent's a lot better. Don't take chances!

You are obviously not familiar with three rules. Pretty cut and dry targeting.

In your defense, you dont see this too often watching RU football because the pace of play is a lot slower.
 What are the three rules I'm not familiar with? And yes I played the game on the collegiate level. Not with this set of rules however.

The late hit on the QB slide was a bad call. I'm surprised the safety didn't stay with Barkley, McSorley was so far behind the line it clearly looked like a pass.
