That was the title over at NJ.com. Couldn't agree more.

Chris Ash: Rutgers needs to 'get Josh Hicks back involved in the offense'

With the lack of play makers on squad can't have a guy like Hicks getting zero touches.

To go a step further(a bunch of steps perhaps), I'd like to see Oden get some touches, even if it's not taking the snaps. Maybe some sets where Gio and Oden are both in the game, alternating snaps?

We know Gio has hs WR experience, and with Lewis on horizon, I wonder if that is not the future of Oden, his frame certainly fits the mold. So could we draw up a package where both guys are out there?

Put Zach Allen at receiver. See what he can do. If he's good enough to play the position at TCU, he's probably good enough to play on a team where WR's are consistently having problems getting separation.
Maybe I am being a naive fan here, but I would think given the ineffectiveness of the offense thus far, the low expectations, and yeah the # of QB's who have running ability and/or WR experience, that would allow for all sorts of creative freedom on offense.

I'd like to see what Chris Laviano could do running this offense. I think he could lead the offense to get multiple first downs per game. Plus he can give game reps to Cintron.
