Not sure if it was here or TOS but Pike praising Doucoure's shooting. Anyone want to own up to taking that L in that argument?
Also Pike said players don't grow but Issa grew. Hoping Harper can add an inch or two #Stretch4
He said good things about Souf in the preseason last year too. Let's see what happens when the games start.
Some interesting tidbits about the bigs. Doorson is at the top of the depth chart, and has added shot blocking. Doucoure will be spending more time at the four.
While Souf was a puzzling blunder, I don’t think he really talked up his play that much once he got a good look at him. Leadership qualities, maybe. The problem was not getting a good look at him in person before bringing him in.
Yeah, was more about his leadership than his on-court value.
Comments on Souf from the Quaker Steak and Lube Coaches Show at the start of last October:
"Souf Mensah is as good a leader as we've had. He's been a locker room guy. He's been a joiner of our team, you know. He's the one that organizes the bowling the team goes to, or watching a football game, or going to watch a boxing match on Pay per View, you know. Souf has become that guy that brings everybody together, which we really needed, and chemistry is an important part of what we gotta get better at as a team and as a program. So, very excited about him."
Finally healthy and in shape, I like how he described Shaq as "Bouncy".
