This would pretty much guarantee a sold out student section if our administration could give their balls a tug and recognize the fact that, yes, students do in fact drink alcohol. Just require that for entry into the alley you must show a game ticket. With students getting 2 free tickets to bring friends, they would then bring friends who are home on thanksgiving break to "show off" how fun their school is. Trust me all kids want everyone to think they go to the most fun school on earth. Also, senior students will want to get their last home tailgate in of their career.
If we lose to indiana, I say forget about it but if we're really trying to create a big time atmosphere at 5-6, playing for a bowl game, IMO opening the alley will create a near sold out student section.
