They could enter the top 10 tomorrow. #11 at worst.

After two more easy victories against Idaho and Portland State, Washington will be firmly in the top 10, likely in the 6-8 range. If they beat an Arizona team that lost at home to an unranked BYU this week, they will most likely be in the top 5 entering their game against Stanford.

A few weeks from now, at least we'll be able to say looking back, we were overwhelmed by a top 5 team.

Of our remaining teams, Only Ohio State (and possibly Michigan) can match Washington's speed and skill. We need to keep that in mind.

If we can take care of business against Howard and New Mexico, and show improvement along the way, who knows? Maybe Iowa doesn't live up to their billing, and behind a raucous RU home crowd, we knock them off in a game that comes down to the last minute to go 3-1.

That's what I'm going with. Makes the week much more fun!

Like it.... Going 2-1 into the Iowa game would be huge for RU.
Not so sure Washington wins at Oregon this year ( lost 12 in a row to them) or vs. Stanford .

What are you talking about? Haven't you followed the AP the last 10 years? SEC teams don't get punished for losing or escaping narrowly. Tennessee will no doubt move up in the polls. LSU shouldn't be but will remain ranked ahead of Notre Dame. Miss ST suffered the worst loss of the weekend and I wouldn't be surprised if they are still ranked. Wisconsin, after beating top 5 LSU, may break in at #23 lol. Beating UMass may earn the Gators a spot.
