Good for some perspective.

Discussing the Northwestern loss to the "boat rowers." :joy: PJ Fleck was jumping around like a cheerleader on the sidelines. He may be good, but golly is he embarrassing to watch.

Northwestern lost the game in the trenches. And they have the talent to win, but they did not EXECUTE.

And oh golly, LOOK at what NW's QB did to lose the game.

Do they even cover our team? I may just be turning it on at all the wrong times, but it seems we never get coverage.

What was score there? Why is D player throwing ball back into end zone?

NW lost 23-22 (or something like that). Don't know why he threw it back in the end zone, perhaps to get the touchback? Controversial play, and it was ruled his foot was out when he threw it back in the endzone.

I have no clue why the WMU player through it back into play. Maybe he thought he wasn't in the end zone. Maybe instincts.

Joining the BIG has been a total bust for football. We have gotten worse.
All the promise have not come true. We can't get good players; we can't get good press; we can't get coaches; we can't win.
We are better off doing what NJIT does. Advertise non-stop on Bloomberg of how great they are. Football ain't doing it.

What highlights??

They showed John Ross scoring multiple TDs. If we would have won and had some great plays they would have showed that.

We're not the only ones that were covered in 30 seconds or less. Purdue, Illinois, Maryland, Iowa same boat. Has nothing to do with BTN support or lack thereof. They covered 11 games in 1 hour and focused on the big news games such as Wisconsin beating LSU and Nebraska's tribute to Sam Foltz, as well as, the 2 blow-out wins by the B!g 2, OSU and Mich.

What really lost that game for NU was running the option instead of just handing the ball three straight times to one of the best running backs in the B1G with the option of kicking a chip-shot field goal if you don't get the TD.

Only saw the replay not the game. It appeared that as the ball was fumbled in the end zone and it was headed for the sideline the last bounce was a high hop just as the DB got to the ball. He grabbed it, but tried to toss it back onto the field ? Probably confused and thought it would be ruled a TD for some reason, (maybe the old cross the plain situation) However, it was ruled his foot hit out of bounds before the toss back, weird. Just like a catch if your foot is in and you go out, except that counts. What would have happened if they couldn't review it ?
