After getting dominated on the boards early on, RU completely turned it around and ended up out rebounding TAMU by 7 for the game. Ace with 10 boards after grabbing 1 at Kennesaw St. And this is an A&M team that rebounds better than just about anyone.

Now we need to fix the end game/critical moments decision making and execution.

Losing both the Bama and A&m games, which were there for the taking, really sucks. But these guys figured out the rebounding issue. I think they are going to figure out how to make the winning plays, too.

The rebounding was much better. Was at the game and saw a lot more competitive fire from RU against a team that statistically is a great rebounding team. If we rebound like that rest of the season, this team will be fine. Ace with 10, Ogbole with 6 and Lathan in limited minutes with 4 was most impressive. RU also won the offensive rebounding battle 15-12 against A&M. In the first 10 minutes or so of 1st half I found myself saying “can anyone on this team grab a rebound” as gave up offensive boards to A&M, but after that rebounding was a non-issue rest of the game as RU won the rebounding battle over A&M. I liked what I saw and have some hope for the rebounding, just need to figure out a way to maintain consistency of what they showed against A&M.

Yup. But there is no shame in losing to those 2 ranked teams, especially if we continue to improve. The Kennesaw State debacle, however, will likely come back to haunt RU if they play themselves onto the bubble come March!

amazing considering the aggies grabbed about 6 or 7 rebounds before we even had 1 at the start of the game. Now our team needs to learn how to close out games. In both loses we had multiple opportunities to take the lead in the last minute or too, but had several empty possessions, turning the ball over or taking bad shots. I don’t think we even got a shot off in the last 3 possessions against aggies. Ace and Dylan each had a chance to win a game in the final minute but both played poorly when they needed to rise to the moment. There was no one else to be a hero. We could have lost the Notre dame game also, if the buzzer shot had gone in.

Did them shooting so many foul shots play a factor in the rebounding getting fixed?

I was surprised at the rebounding totals after the game.

Came here to post this. Their offensive rebounding opportunities were reduced significantly because of the neverending foul calls
