A problem that might not be given as much credit as it should - Homecoming is sometimes the one and only game a year that some big donors and potential season ticket holders (casual fans) attend each year. Needless to say, we haven't had too much luck with this game in the recent past.

2010 - L - Tulane 17-14
2011 - W - Navy 21-20
2012 - L - Kent State 35-23
2013 - L - Houston 49-14
2014 - L - Wisconsin 37-0

As you can see, it's been pretty bad. We won once in the past 5 years, by 1 point, and the losses have gotten progressively worse as time has gone on. Now, the Jayhawks are probably the worst FBS team in the country right now, so hopefully the Homecoming curse is lifted, and boy we could sure use a win. Let's cheer on the men this Saturday.

LUCK??? Kyle Flood is 0-3 on HC having been outscored 121-37. Beyond disgraceful and it wouldn't surprise me if there are 15-20,000 empty seats on Saturday (regardless of tickets "sold").

Amen Dave a "W" on HC would be phenomenal but none of those losses had ANYTHING to do with "LUCK." Kyle Flood is 0-3 on HC having been outscored 121-37. Beyond disgraceful and it wouldn't surprise me if there are 15-20,000 empty seats on Saturday (regardless of tickets "sold").

A loss to this team is a much bigger concern than losing on HC again. I don't care what game it is, we cannot lose to Kansas (or Army for that matter)

Boy if this team doesn't get it done verse Kansas on Homecoming it will be a terrible loss ...one of the worst in the last 15 years. Combine that with all the hideous off field mess, it will be among the worst 4 week periods ever for the football program.

Look i am as down as anyone right now but i am not crazy!

I can not see us losing to Kansas. No matter how bad we have it now, they wished they had it as good as us.

Kansas is the perfect medicine for our bad performances.

Agree and disagree:

- i can't see us losing, however...

- beating up on these guys isn't going to do much for this team (see: NFSU)

Kansas is in complete shambles and is an putrid football team this season.

But, Rutgers has not shown me anything to believe that they will win this game.

I'll stick with my prediction of a KU win which will get RU to rock bottom again as a football program.

If Rettig was starting I would feel a little different.
