if we were Indiana base on the schedule we would be ranked.
You are absolutely right. Some posters will never believe that, but perception plays a big role. I'm not saying Rutgers should get some votes, but put Indiana or Wisconsin in place of Rutgers and you probably will get some votes.if we were Indiana base on the schedule we would be ranked.
Exactly what I was getting at.You are absolutely right. Some posters will never believe that, but perception plays a big role. Want to be ranked?
If RU wins its next four it will be when the rankings are released on Jan. 8.
It's really not important right now. I want to see us there in March.Don’t care what anybody says. All of our losses were close for most of the game...after tonight I want #25 or at least “receiving votes”.
RU SOS is 155 including the two conference games....252 for non conference right now
Great win, but I think if we had beaten FSU we may---may get a few "receiving votes." But overall as a team, we're not there yet.Don’t care what anybody says. All of our losses were close for most of the game...after tonight I want #25 or at least “receiving votes”.
No way should RU be ranked. But the rankings are always based more on reputation, preseason hype and potential this time of year, rather than actual performance on the court. Teams like Duke can over come bad losses to teams like BC and somehow remain in the top 3! Arizona is somehow still ranked No. 18 with 3 losses, including two to unranked NC State and SMU. A two-loss Creighton team is ranked despite losing to the only two currently ranked teams they played because Creighton has beaten Northwestern and Wisconsin, both of whom are down this year. And the list goes on . . . . . . .
