That feeling of "I can't wait for the next game". Wasn't long ago that I just wanted the season to end. Now going 3 days seems way too long to wait to play again.

For me it was really the tourney play that brought it back and now these last 3 that have really felt legit after taking a bit of a dip.

During the EJ days my dad and I used to just talk about wanting a team good enough to compete let alone win. We’d come into an empty RAC already knowing the outcome. Lost embarrassing games. Probably the first time we actually questioned having season tickets after having them in the family for 20+ years. We just wanted a team where we could walk in to the gym every night and no we had a chance to win the game or Atleast be competitive.

Pikiell has delivered that big time. It’s so easy to spot the fair weather fans now with their criticisms. If you told me three years ago we’d be a middle of the pack big ten team led by underclassmen with a priority recruit on his way in I’d cry of happiness! What’s happening is amazing.

So true and really because you have seen over the last 3 games the Pike defense return has returned aand a functional offense.. The team is finally playing for 40 minutes as it has taken time for the freshman to understand how difficult it is to compete in this league. I really believe full 40 minute efforts on both ends is here to stay and that atrocious defense against Ohio State and Michigan especially guarding the 3 are a thing of the past. At least I hope so.
