We're gonna beat Michigan

Gonna be a challenge due to their size.
I have no clue what Pike’s plan is for that game. Lathan, Dortch, Ace, and Martini are going to rotate inside as the bigs for that game to deal with Wolf and Golden? Hard to picture how our guys are going to stay out of foul trouble. I guess they are going to play a zone, Wolf himself can actually play on the perimeter like a small forward with 3 point shooting and dribble drives. Michigan bigs are going to be a handful without Ogbole’s size and fouls he could provide. Ace could end up in foul trouble.

I really don’t think Martini does anything but take minutes from Grant.
Dorch looks like he can defend, which allows Lathen to stay home

Golden at 7'1" and Wolf at 7' will present a serious problem for our undermanned frontline.
This is why we’ll really miss Dylan in this game. He finds the spaces among the trees to get to the rim and finish.

Crazy as it sounds, I think a guy like Davis could have a good game against a team like that.

Bailey can't get in early foul trouble. This is a game where Ogobole would be helpful defending the two 7' Michigan star players.I would play a pressing defense trying to tire out the big men and possibly causing some turnovers and fast break layups.

An option would be to try to punish their size (though I don't know either of their bigs' games). Keep the middle open and force them to cover Ace (for sure) and maybe DG, maybe LS, maybe Zach, from the 3-point line.

Michigan is as yet undefeated at home but they’ve proven to beatable away from home with three neutral court losses and two road losses.

Ace will be a problem for them.
Bailey needs to score at least 30 points with Harper not playing. He needs to stay out of foul trouble guarding one of the two 7' Michigan players. The RAC crowd has little impact when Rutgers has scoring droughts.

Also, RU really needs to shake the rust off early to start both halves and keep it close. Otherwise, as you said the crowd needs a reason to get into it.

Fear Michigan more than any other team as match up issue with their big men.

Would be a nice feather in our cap.

What kind of sucks is we’re not a 4-6 team that can sneak up on teams. When we’re on, we’re really good and everyone knows that.

While the seven footers will create problems for RU, maybe the staff can find a way for it to be problematic for them. Make the big guys chase, cut to the basket, drive off screens, etc. Will be interesting to see how they play this.

Score more points than them and we win. Our supporting cast is more important than ever. Hopefully Acuff's last game is the start of continuing contributions from him. Grant and Dorsch need to keep their energy going. Lathan needs to be aggressive, but stay our of foul trouble which will be hard in this game. If they focus too much on Ace, we need to take advantage of that. Win this game and next up is Illinois who is struggling.
Let's shock the world again.

Well if they play two big men then we can force one to guard Ace

Why would we not first try guarding their big men with LS and DG instead of Ace? Keep him out of foul trouble. Also, I would definitely try extending ball pressure to make it harder for Michigan to initiate the offense. Michigan is one of the worst in the nation at turnovers, 14.4 per game. Push the tempo when we get rebounds, make 'em run.

Ogbole loss will hurt in one or more of these games.
We will not be able to defend inside if Latham has to sit due to fouls.
And we cannot expect Ace to have a superior shooting night every game.
He has had a few cluckers already.
