Same here Abro (1st time i subscribed to Flo)...... Might have to try and score a ticket to see the Nebraska match (Would be my first live match)

I am really impressed by the fight in Gravina. He looks like he could be really good. I also expect Giraldo to reach all american status by the time his 4 years are done at RU.

What was very cool was to finally see as many R shirts as C shirts and anyone else's at MSG today.
Cornell recap:
125: McCabe - unreal opening. (MVP in my view as this is a 6 point delta on team score to expectations)
133: Giraldo took it to Nahshan Garrett, who was a little too strong and old. Though he took it to Nahshon, like a future all american should AG expects more of himself and wanted to win, not just put up a good fight.
141: AA - Sticks Dylan Realbuto. Huge bonus points. Just AA. Makes $1660 for pin pool today with two sticks.
149: Dippery holding on to beat Joey Galasso was amazing. Tyson avenges and this will build confidence.
157: Van Brill loses to Chris Dowdy (senior). Van Brill was game and tried, but Dowdy was older and more muscular.
165: Perrotti beats Pickett...a little closer than i like at the end, but going up early is the key for AP to hold on.
177: Phil Bakuckas scouted Realbuto so well. Kept his scoring to 2 takedowns, on escape and a riding point. Watch this match and see the defense PB kept doing to the Realbuto tilt attempts.always grabbing the interior ankle and stopping tilts all over the place. very impressive to hold off bonus.
184: Gravina vs Gabe Dean. The 13-5 major was due to Gravina trying and trying. this created opportunities both ways but Gabe is #1 for a reason. Nick got the first takedown and was aggressive but Gabe is just another level, but i take this loss all day since Gravina just kept going.
197: Hrymack v Own Scott - two unranked seniors 6'3" and over. Nail biter that Hayden ended up winning. Won it when he had to as a senior against archrival.
285: Smith over Sweany - Senior v Freshman. Smith too strong and seasoned. Sweany is 2x California chamption and will be podium seeker in two years, but this was RU's and Smith's day.
RU takes 6 matches, gives up one bonus point and wins all three toss ups.

Those matches reflect the attitude in the room!! "your better than me? PROVE IT!!!" These kids are fun to watch as they have that "I don't give a crap who you are!! I'm coming after you attitude!!" So much different than a couple seasons ago!!

Completely agree. We used to look scared against top competition. Used to have no offense, and seem to wrestle to keep it close. Now we have Giraldo going crazy in the first period against Cody Brewer, and Gravina doing the same against Gabe Dean. Its awesome to see. They may lose, but almost everyone on this team is going to make the competition prove they're better.
