What coach would put the ball in the hands of an ice cold shooter?

Ummmmmm that would be my choice for B1G coach of the year. Think about the options he had to call. Anything close to Myles getting the ball under the basket he gets fouled knowing he is not a good FT shooter. Harper had a tough game. I loved the call. Bit surprised he did not dribble drive but I will take the outcome!

The only other possible choice would be Yeboah who had 20 points and made a dagger 3 pointer near the end of the game.

He knew he had OT in his back pocket so went with experience

Not sure if the coach called that play. Maybe an iso for Geo thinking he can get to the basket or kick out. Step back NBA 3? No coach calls that.

Argued with the Mrs. She wanted Geo to shoot earlier. If he missed they had time to still score. Told her no way. Game was either going to by won by RU on a last second shot or go to OT

Geo can create his own shot, he’s made these shots before, and despite missing the front end of a 1 and 1 a few minutes prior, is one of our best FT shooters.

Yeboah had three big FTs when he was fouled taking a three. Either right before that or after we fouled Neb and they only made 1 of 3. That was huge

Geo can finish at the basketball, hit mid range jumpers, and can hit the step back 3. Bc he has so many ways he can score -- he has to have the ball

I’ve been critical of Geo’s shot from deep but I was confident with him taking that last shot, especially after he made his previous trey.

He’s done that step-back three for the win a few times in his career. Total ice in his veins because everyone in the house knew he was gonna take it.

Good call by Pike.

Pike knows the value of Geo more than anyone, he has consistently put the ball in Geo's hands at the end of games. Cajones from both today

I somewhat agree with the Mrs. Maybe s second sooner to give you a chance at a tip. Can’t argue with the result.

Nebraska wouldn't have shown up for overtime anyways. Their last chance to win was that baseline wide open 3 they missed. OT we win by like 8pts or so

She wanted him to shoot right away, bless her heart. Love her for following RU with the same passion as I have. She went to an all women’s college so “adopted” Rutgers after we met.
