$100 for Row 83 in the upper deck end zone corner seems a little steep(in more ways than one).

I imagine the contribution level for the good seats must be astronomical.

As far as our allocation went, does anyone know what the contribution was to get downstairs seats?

Not at all. They knew there would be good demand for this game and they could command a higher price. No different than us trying to get 250 for an OSU seat. For season ticket holders they have a program for seat donations but it isn't astronomical. Last season, I got a partial ticket plan there(4 games including OSU and msu) in section EDU(40 ish yd line second level) They waived the seat donation and i believe it came to 70 a ticket

Row 90 here. How do they even have 90 rows and why is it still 100 dollars?

I guess it depends what you consider decent/good. My season tickets are in the center of the north end zone about 20 rows up. I love the end zone view because you can see plays develop. 20 rows up is just high enough to see the entire field. For that I pay my $200 donation and $55 per ticket. That zone is actually considered a cheap seat in the stadium.

OT, but I saw an article yesterday somewhere that said tix for our game against Ohio State are the most expensive for any college game in the country this year. $525 or so....has to do with surge-pricing or something.

We paid $100 for a group of 80 tix in rows 83-86 on the 20 yard line. Normal price is $110 but since we purchased over 50 tix we got the group discount.

I will say that the psu ticket rep was amazingly accommodating & helpful. We originally only purchased 30 tix but he told us if we found 20 more people he would apply the group discount. He told us to have people contact him directly & reference our name & he would automatically direct people to our section so we could have a group together. Between here on the boards & the RU Facebook page we were able to get 50 more people to sit with us.

The OSU ticket price makes sense. We have the reigning national champion (and potential repeat national champion) coming to the NYC area, where there are many OSU alumni with deep pockets. On top of that, OSU hasn't really made trips close to NYC in their fanbase's lifetime... in last 60 years, they have only been closer than a 4 hour drive twice: @Maryland last year (3.5+ hour drive) and @Boston College in 1990 (3.5+ hour drive).

The last time they played within 3.5 hours of NYC was 1953, when they played @UPenn (1-1.5 hour drive).

I believe you will find that Beaver Stadium actually has about 120-125 rows, since Row 1 doesn't start until after the first 25 Rows which are sort of club seats.

hahaha @PatrickRU92 you slay me with these pictures. you could put a book together....or make a tee shirt out of one or 3 of them....

I'm seriously considering wearing a tin foil hat when I head out there on 9/19...to help keep the cult away.

My folks season tickets (which they got to my best friend with STEP) are in NJ on the aisle. I used to be that right across the aisle in NK was the visitors section, which was awesome. We also have a guy with Seatbacks in WD that we often sit in as he loves to tailgate but isn't always interested in actually going to the game.

I have no idea why people buy seats in the visitors section when going to games. The seats always suck. I would much rather sit amongst the home team fans, strike up a conversation and actually have a decent seat.

I am the complete opposite. I would rather sit with fellow fans. I don't care about seat location.

I would love to see TTFP temporarily rename section NJ as something completely different.

I'm in row 95! I think that's the top of the stadium. At least I'm with the RU allotment fans....
