What happened to the defense?

Even with Schiano, we got the pressure on the QB by rushing the defensive back or LB. Maybe we are saving it for the Penn State game to surprise them. That's how Temple put the pressure on them.

You do remember how much Schiano's defense sucked against spread teams like WSU, don't you?

On a very serious note, chalk this year up to a learning experience for our secondary and QB. We will be much better next year assuming everyone stays healthy and out of trouble.

Agreed. Guys were blocking before the ball was in the air. Can't do that. Our play calling was awful though

When Schiano was here, the defense was in the top 10 in the country. The last 2 years we were about 100 ranked in the country.

The only reason Flood won any games in 2013 was Schiano defense. Flood was too scared to try to score and ran on every play even when it was 20yards and first down. Do you remember that year? I don't give him credit for the 2012 defense.

Definitely missed Hamilton. He would've pushed the pocket back and put the QB in the line of Turay and others. Turay was beating his guy all night but with no push down the middle, Turay had no angle at the QB.

called that out all game. Thanks for the poster above that confirmed PAC12 Refs. Didn't know it until now but made a 100 bet in the stands just watching the calls (or not).

PS..let's not refer to that last WSU possession as "a drive"..more like a nice stroll up the field. Worst defensive game plan I have ever seen. 100% lack of adjustments. Just TERRIBLE.
