All this recruiting news. Where was this the past couple of years??I know we are more active now because we have a lot of spots to fill, but still.

Hard to get recruiting news when staff isnt recruiting. A most welcome change.

Progressively getting a strong sense of confidence in the program's leadership.
Feeling like Pikiell (similar to Ash) has a highly organized visionary mind - kind of like you could put him up at a giant whiteboard and say 'tell me your plans' - and in just a bit you would be standing in front of a board covered with highly detailed comprehensive immediate & long term flow charts - with timing, interrelationships, and contingencies.
Really feel like this program is being led by a really substance-rich staff.... and looking forward, this is going to be fun to watch.

A big thank you to President Barchi who was only an athletics walk-on when he got here. He has grown to see the light and is now on board and can be considered "Knighted" and may even become an MVP.

His hiring of Hobbs got this train rolling down the track instead of off the track as under our last 2 ADs.

It's called a real commitment by Rutgers and a new head coach with a real plan and a real top notch staff who "gets it" and not some former NBA assistant who was going through the motions for three years and collecting a paycheck.

Not a day goes by when I dont still....pinch myself that we are B10. It was always like the Ivy league with better sports to me. And WAY more money.
