What player-tracking sensors do our players wear?

Look at this pic and look to bottom-right at Harper's shorts. The darker object under the shorts has to be a player tracker. They are all wearing it. Anyone know what brand we use? (am thinking Kinexion based on the small rectangle) Has anyone seen any data or reports or takeaways from collecting such data? Who jumps highest.. closes fastest, changes directions fastest etc... who stands around the most.. stuff like that.

Player tracking sensor??? I thought the were pouches carrying face masks 😉

Rutgers has been using versions of these since Pikiell got here. They are tracked via laptop during the game and practices for any irregularities in vitals

Placed a long way from the heart....
so they have leads (wires) headed to more vital areas?

I think its a nice safety measure for players who might develop irregular heartbeats etc.. no one needs to see another athlete go down. A little warning may prevent that.

But while they are at it.. let's upgrade and track their performance too!

Correct those devices are the Polar biometric sensors - they don’t track speed, acceleration etc. but rather heart beat, blood oxygen, etc

Would be interested to see if elevated heart rate at the line = more misses
