I know this seems like a minor thing to complain about, but it almost cost OSU a shot at the National Title, and one of the biggest games in school history.

4th and goal from the 6 and time is winding down.... Instead of waiting till about 2 or 3 seconds left, he calls a timeout with 6 seconds left leaving 1 second on the clock after the game tying FG. Michigan then broke free on the ensuing kickoff to (I think) the Michigan 40. Very dangerous but up by 7 in OT now looks like they might hang on.

You can't make a call on something so close that will DEFINITELY end the game, especially between these two teams. You have to give the players the chance to go out there and decide it for themselves definitively. Don't want the play of the game of the season to be remembered as an instant replay.

Spot was correct. Amazing people don't understand how forward progress works. Ball gets spotted at the furthest point the ball reached before being pushed back. It absolutly crossed the 15, no question.

If that game was played in Michigan Ohio State loses. listen to me, that was a very generous spot.

Nobody is listening to your nonsense, be it regarding OSU's win over Michigan or RU's coaching staff.

The end-of-regulation first down spot was correct by forward progress, called correctly by the referees, and correctly confirmed via instant replay.

Urban showed a lot of guts in that game. Frankly, if his name wasn't Urban Meyer I think he would probably get a lot of flack for those calls. Fake punt deep in their own end, which ends up in a turnover on downs leading to a Michigan TD. A couple 4th down tries both successful but one which led only to a tying FG albeit closer and the other for the winning TD. Fail either of those and whew. But like I said he's Urban Meyer so he can get away with it.

Even though TOs were called both times I do like the way he tries to press the advantage in some short yardage situations. He was encouraging his offense to push it and take advantage when the D may not be ready or slow to react. Ended up calling TOs but I like the mentality. That stuff happens on the fly though in a game and you have to be trained to recognize it and when to go.
