Normally when an unranked team beats a ranked team, top 15, everyone says they have to play a perfect game. Well, if I told you RU shot 34% from the floor, only made 3 three pointers and shot 25% from three, missed 12 foul shots and at least 2-3 were the front end of one on ones, and was outrebounded for three quarters of the game ending even at 46, you would never believe we won. We won playing a so so game at best but with great heart, poise, and resiliency, coming from 13 down in the first half and 10 down in the second and after tying it at 54-54, Seton Hall went on a 9-0 run, and Pike's boys still overcame yet another deficit. Wow!!! Most incredible takeaway from yesterday.

This team as Coach said in the post game press conference can and( I will add )will play much better. They will shoot better, pass better with great assists, rebound better, get more scoring from our Centers, from our Three wing player and when we do, we will beat more ranked teams. We are definitely going to go toe to toe with the rest of the conference and will win our fair share. If Corey can hit the jumper like yesterday and either Issa or Mike can give us more from three than yesterday with the way we play defense and rebound , I think we have a chance to finish in the upper half of this league this year. We are finally learning how to win, got real close against FSU and MSU , which helped us yesterday and might finally get us over the hump. All credit goes to Coach Pike and his staff plus these players that have bought in on the defensive end. So damn impressive !

Statistically, you are right. The reason this team won was that they just refused to lose. Many SHU fans think that their team just stopped playing in the second half. I think it was more from RU's intensity of defense that made SHU look like they stopped playing.
