7 wins. 6 wins would be a pretty good season, less than that, depends on how we won/lost and to who. Not saying i'll be calling for anyone's head with a rough season, but successful to me is winning some ball games.

8-4 is attainable? You are bat shit crazy.

6-6 acceptable? 6-6 is borderline pipe dream.

5-7 is palatable? 5-7 is overachieving.

4-8 is questionable? Good/on par.

If Ash WINS 6 GAMES this year then this program is destined for GREATNESS with him in charge.

It ain't happening though.

This a 3 to 4 win team. Go prove us wrong coach.

We did just hire a new coach to be better than his predecessor so a 3-4 win season is Flood acceptable not Ash.
sojo you have been in the hole of despair too long. there is underutilized talent on this team that if trained and exploited will surprise you.
You will enjoy and be surprised by this fall.

There is barely any talent on this team sans 1 receiver, a veteran d line, and two young RBs lol

That's beating Howard and 3 of Indiana, New Mexico, Illinois and Maryland. A loss to Washington and no upsets of the big boys.

Good? Talk about a low bar. They may as well have retained the prior coach and saved on salary.

Oh I'm all too aware of what that means. Flood drove us off a cliff my man.

If you're suggesting Flood would have recruited like Ash, I'd like a cup of whatever you're drinking.

And even If we only won 2 games all year but every single game was hard fought with good effort, smart play, solid fundamentals, and gradual but steady improvement, that's already a better product than what Flood was selling, regardless of overall record.
