Anyone have a clue? I was curious how our captain feels, entering now his 5th year and coming off an injury. What are his plans?

I thought I recall at one point during the season (specifically around the PSU/Kirk Floyd suspension), that he would only come back if we retained our former head coach, but really have not heard much since-- especially with Ash & co. now leading the program.

Anyone have any links or news to share? Thanks.

He changed his first statement to he's coming back no mtater what happened with coaching change. Other than that, haven't seen any news.

Assume like every other player, no news means they are here. His last tweet of relevance was the well discussed tweet on 12/23 where he was on campus working out long after most had left....

He needs to be at a weight where he is most effective. He doesn't have the biggest frame and 290 lbs may be too much for him. Hamilton is a huge key next year as the face of the program. The key to winter conditioning is having seniors buy in and taking leadership roles in players doing extra work especially with football activities where the coaches can't be involved. Hamilton accepting the new warrior mentality that the coaches want requires team leaders lead by example

I imagine Hamilton will have his degree or be very close to it by the summer . So he can concentrate almost fully on football .

Hopefully up to 280-290 solid

I believe he said something about being around 275-280. I don't think he'd look to get any bigger than that. He's had to work 3 1/2 years to get where he is. His game is based on quickness and technique, not size as I understand. There'd have to be a point of diminishing returns if he continued to try to add weight, no?

This brings up a question for the football experts. How if at all does Ash's defense philosophy as opposed to the past affect the DL? Different type of player? Different responsibilities?

Yes, I wonder about that myself. It will be interesting to see how he comes into next season and how this coaching staff uses him.

He is just chilling. Playing xbox, eating at Subway of course, and generally sitting around until the season starts.

On a side note, he is going to have a monster year, I predict.

coming off an injury season, he really needs to take advantage of another one to have a good chance at the pros.

Could you explain what this sentence attempted to mean? Does he need to take advantage of another "injury season"?
