How is Johnson Park or the church for parking? Will there be spots available if I show up around 10 you think? How's the tailgating in these lots?

In the past, I have bought parking passes on StubHub but they are so overpriced, so I wanted to see what the general consensus is about these lots.

If you don't care about tailgating yourself, then take exit 10 on 287, drive down easton ave to landing lane bridge, turn RIGHT at the bridge (not left over the bridge) and park on any of the side streets in that area. 10 minute walk to stadium, as close as many lots.

Johnson filled up by 3:30 this past week. Night game and being Michigan made it earlier than normal. Usually filled 2 hours before game time.

Tailgating there is great, just expect a lot of visiting team fans.

Thanks guys. Yes, I definitely want to tailgate. I wonder if its worth paying the extra $25 to be in the purple lot, and not have to worry about it filling up.

Better yet ..while Easton Ave. before you get to the Light to turn left down towards Landing Land Bridge look to turn right on the many side streets on Easton ( Arlington, Bloomfield, etc) plenty of free parking there.

$25 in the Purple Lot is a no brained if someone will sell it to you for that little

I meant extra 25 to the cost of Johnson park which is 45. So 70 total. However I found a pass on StubHub for 55 total, so I went with that because I love that lot, and am splitting it with 3 friends. Thanks guys!

What about parking at Ferren Deck? Assuming it still exists. Going to go to the city after the game and it would just make perfect sensense to park there.

Someone stands on the corner opposite the Greek Church with a $ 20 parking sign which is probably up the street. Not far from the stadium, but don't know about tailgating. They've been there every home game.

Yeah. The lady packs them in her yard. No room to tailgate.
