maybe he will lean on Grant and Dorscth being the saviors or that defense doesnt matter

What do you want to see me post.....the staff doesn't manage roles and responsibilities and we have walk-on level players, getting 20 minutes a game and more talented players sitting or playing less.
You want to win 20 games this season?? Start the 4 freshman (Dylan, Ace, Lathan and Grant with JWill and bring in Derkack, JMike and Ogbole off the bench for defense and rebounding. And find a way to get Acuff some minutes.

Lathan is pitiful defensively and while skilled — he’s more often than not a black hole on offense. And Grant should start? Despite being long and athletic, he can barely crack the rotation on a team with some of the worst perimeter defenders imaginable. I’m actually all for getting him more minutes (don’t have much to lose at this point) — but I’m not sure how the plan you’ve laid out is a path to 20 wins. To me that’s a path to a 12-18 record

Overlooks the majority of what I said. Our problems are more defense than offense now — Lathan is a BAD defender at the 5 at the moment
This team needs to rely on offense at this point, that’s what this teams biggest upside is, and where they are clearly getting the least amount of coaching. Pike is rolling the ball on the floor and playing grade school, CYO, level ISO ball
Offense can lead to defense and an offense that involves highlighting your SUPERSTARS
And allowing your role players opportunities which complements the 2 superstars would allow for a more energized team resulting in better overall play.
The black hole 🕳️ is an example of an aspect of coaching “discipline” that Pike seems clueless about, and the point of your post I felt like commenting on.
The only B1G star level player we have is Dylan. He has been consistently as good as advertised. And then some. Ace has insane skills, but his best basketball is ahead of him. We will never reap the rewards. He's good not great overall right now. Derkac is a nice rotation piece at best. JW has been underwhelming so far. Hurt? The rest are barely playable and unfortunately the game calls for 5. Just a terribly conceived roster
