yep..a qb we couldnt get to and they continually made big plays that our D couldnt stop...except Teddy only had one legLouisville 2012
IowaWhat was the game with Nova's three failed goal line attempts?
On my VHS tape library of games that one is titled:59 YEARS AND 59 MINUTES.PSU 2014 is another one
I agree the impact of this loss isn’t severe, but it is the #1 loss due to monumental stupidity that Shelby has ever witnessed.NOT EVEN CLOSE to a WV or Louisville.
I get this raw right now...but this game may not even have impacted what bowl we attend....if we lose to MSU, they will get Detroit with 6 wins.
We wanted to go to a non Detroit, non Pinstripe bowl right?
I think the goal was 7 wins....for those who said 8...we're going to compare that to missing a BCS bowl? Really?
People were saying playoff in September...in October it was we're a 4 win max team...in November, lose a close game to a good team after becoming bowl eligible...and it's full on tilt
Kinda reminds me how we blew it vs Maryland last year and then dominated Miami and it went from meltdown to sunshine. Should be interesting in the next month plus
2005. 2006 should have been immediately nonsensical to any diehard.I agree the impact of this loss isn’t severe, but it is the #1 loss due to monumental stupidity that Shelby has ever witnessed.
#2 was the decision to go first in overtime at Illinois after winning the toss in the Leonard Leap 85 yard TD run game at Illinois ( Shelby thinks 2006 but not sure of exact year).
I think that was 2005 if I remember correctly.I agree the impact of this loss isn’t severe, but it is the #1 loss due to monumental stupidity that Shelby has ever witnessed.

Forgot that. I was there for that one too...We lost to Wash.St in 2015 on a few seconds to go pass into the end zone from Luke Falk to River Cracraft.
Shelby was at that road game. Were you, Mr Diehard ?2005. 2006 should have been immediately nonsensical to any diehard.
Nope I was at the Olive Branch. Do you know what that is 😃?Shelby was at that road game. Were you, Mr Diehard ?
washingtonTrying to snatch some positivity out of all of this negativity.
What were the greatest wins? Too soon?

today would have been top 3, that Washington is 3rd really speaks to how bad our program has been in the Big 10
beat usf when they were a phony #2 doesnt mean that much
was arky 4-8 that yearArkansas?
Miami?
what a fine line...let that fg go and we are partying tonight, a shot at going to Florida and finishin 8-4 and praising this team for chopping the win and absolute praise on AK for the comebackAs bad as it gets !
The venom - and rightfully so- skewed towards Schiano was intense leaving the stadium.
To lose a game like that when the team played their hearts out and left everything on the field is shattering
A Pop Warner coach would have won that game in last few seconds !
I feel terrible for the team - especially Athan and Kyle - that they lost this game because of coaching malfeasance by Schiano once again!
2009 beating USF I thinkWhen was the last time we beat a ranked team, and when was the last time we won a home finale? This was a bottom 5 loss for me, fan since 2002.

WV snow-game, don’t recall the year.
And when we played… Washington, was it? Super late game, ended around 2:30 or 3am.
Watched it with @RU848789 at the olive branch. That one was a painful loss.
Yes, that was it. Thanks.Fresno St. I believe. First game under Flood. Janarian Grant returned the first KO to Rutgers to the house.
