Who said a 3 star team is so bad

Yes I know statically there are going to be more 3 star players then 4 and 5 star. But where are all those superstar players you would expect to see they go in the first round

There are more 3 star players drafted in the first round the both 4 and 5 star players put together

16 - 3star

7 – 4star

8 – 5 star

1 - 2star (Uconn)

exactly, too many people look at the stars and have never seen a kid play.
 
In before someone explains, statistically, why stars are actually a very good predictor, using the very data posted above.

Alabama, Ohio State, USC, Auburn, LSU have been dominating college football and winning national championships with three star players.

It simple. Each year there are about 20 or so 5 star players. Each year there are about 2,000+ 3 star or lower players. Tell me which odd do you like better picking a 1stround draft pick.
 
I don't mind a team with mostly 3 stars and a few 4 stars but 40% of our recruits, 20, the last 2 years has been 2 stars.
 
Someone doesn't understand percentages.
It's a common problem.
