He teaches terrible half court offense. Four players stand around and the player with the ball goes one on one. How did that take advantage of the undermanned Huskers? Instead of having to chase our players through screens, and constant motion, they stood still next to our motionless players. Not going to get them tired that way! He also doesn't teach them to value each possession. I have never seen such sloppy play. Where are the screens for the half-decent shooters? Why doesn't the hot player keep getting the ball? When is he going to recruit players that can hit outside shots?
Everyone got excited about our defense. What happened to that defense the last two games? We could not stop players from driving to the basket for easy layups or getting fouled.
I'm still waiting for him to work the refs. Isn't it wonderful that he has never received a technical foul.
I have my doubts; how about you.

This is emblematic of the garbage I see on this board. You are like teenagers with the histrionic schizophrenia. Are you this emotionally unstable in your real lives? Too high, too low. This board seems to have been swarmed by petulant little turds tonight.

It has been an uneven season. We have overachieved at times. We have underachieved at times. The core of young talent and development is cause for incredible optimism. The future is very bright. Take a breath.

You know, I have no problem questioning Pikiell aboit this game. Those are valid questions, But to expand that to wondering why most of us are happy with a coach who took a young team that lost its best player from a last-place team and won seven Big Ten games is just nutty.

By the way, how is everybody who said we wouldn’t be better without Sanders?

You just NEVER knoe

"Four players stand around and the player with the ball goes one on one" is the laziest of the typical hot takes you see from people who don't know the game and only watch the ball. I get that people focus on the ball, I do too, but there's a hell of a lot going on away from the ball. You can have issues with this offense, but please understand that the fact that you think it's a 1-on-5-based offense is a you problem.

Some valid points. Although this season did out perform expectations the last three games were definitely a what the fck moment, completely killed all off-season momentum. I guess we will have to wait until November.
