Why I won't be at the Rock Friday

Life is too short for that kind of stuff. Although when my wife comes to a game and we lose I do blame her.

My wife is undefeated at the RAC from Fred Hill on, except for one game--last year when her alma mater, Wake Forest, showed up.

And that was a close one we should have won. My wife's record is pretty good this year so far . Not bringing her to the Rock and didn't bring her to MSG.

I'm going into tomorrow's seton hall game with a very easy and relaxed mindset. Yes, this would be a huge win for us this year but if we lost it's not the end of the season or the end of the world. I think all the pressure in the world is on the Pirates. This would be a crushing blow to them even though we are playing well and much better than anyone expected. Btw, I have found that teams with that kind of pressure are usually on the losing end.

And Barton, we're expecting great things.

Hey Dave did your post count get reset? There's no way you've posted less than 150 times on this board.

It seems that alot of people where jinxes that last three years.

When we lost at Navy in football in Gregs third year I refused to talk to my wife during the ride home. It was her fault.

Don't feel too bad, Dave. I arrived at Rutgers in the fall of 1976. Basketball was coming off of 31-2 and football had the 11-0 season. Stayed at Rutgers for 29 years, leaving just before the start of the 2005 season, with the big turnaround in FB. Friends on the faculty were offering me bribes to stay away.
