It is a great post or a stupid post. There is no in between. Never saw Sanu talk about his future. Big leap by the OP. Many posted the same crap about Brian Leonard which was stupid as he had no interestNot the most ridiculous post I’ve seen this week.
Any player of his caliber and experience can provide value advice. Do you think he forgot how to play the game? I didn’t say make him OC…Underwood had no coaching experience.. most of it is personality and communication skills to transfer knowledge. Mo has these traits. Why do people assume a former player no matter how good they were would actually be a good coach? Just because they were blessed with athletic talent doesn’t mean they were blessed with the ability to teach the game.

So essentially you are saying let fire an experienced coach for a guy who never done it and may completely stink at it.
Being an effective coach is a very different skill set than being a good player. There’s some overlap, but really only in general stuff that also applies to anybody, not just former players. Like raw intelligence, or as you say, good communication skills.Any player of his caliber and experience can provide value advice. Do you think he forgot how to play the game? I know. I’m a teacher. Did Underwood have experience?Being an effective coach is a very different skill set than being a good player. Being a good coach is much more about teaching than about playing. And in my experience, most people cannot teach very effectively out of the box, they need training and apprenticeship and experience.
Cause we are desperate? Why do people assume a former player no matter how good they were would actually be a good coach?
But you are a big fan of Deion Sanders as a HC.I mean, it would follow our mantra of hiring retreads in a way
The best soccer player I ever played for (He played for Ghana in the WC) was by far the worst coach I ever had. I agree that coaching is more about personality, motivation, and I'd add preparation. We have no idea if Mo has these traits.Any player of his caliber and experience can provide value advice. Do you think he forgot how to play the game? Yes I am. Deion isn’t a retread and have you seen the guys going to Colorado? I’d be shocked if that team doesn’t go bowling year 1, which is a remarkable turnaround considering they won what? 2 games last year? But you are a big fan of Deion Sanders as a HC.
Guys, I've seen this up close in the hockey world multiple times, and I can tell you with certainty that great players do not always make great coaches. In fact, they are often times lousy coaches. Don't assume that just because someone is a physical freak of nature that they can teach someone else technique. Not sure where Mo is right now, but to bring him in and get involved and develop as a coach (IF he wants to) would be fantastic.
Or, another younger alum who had success in the league?
Add speed. I remember that UConn game where he came out of nowhere. The only way I see it helping is if they transplant Mo's hands on to RU's WR's.
A simple Google search would show you that he coached at Lafayette and then the Miami Dolphins prior to RU.I know. I’m a teacher. Did Underwood have experience?

Before he came to RU? Yes. 2 years. 1 at Lafayette, 1 in the NFLI know. I’m a teacher. Did Underwood have experience?
LMAO, kid just one hands it like his old man.
looks like he is home in Atlanta coaching up his son…..maybe Schiano wants to offer the kid
And, if that's his neighborhood in the video clip, it looks like he's not spending money like a billionaire, as some pro athletes and actors and so forth wind up doing and then are surprised to learn it's all gone. So that 32M should just grow and grow.He has made 32M in career salary. Doubt he’s dying to grind it out anytime soon.
