Somewhat off topic, but I've been surprised Luke Nathan hasn't been seeing any action especially considering his size and our lack of depth at center.

While Kiss's situation has been beaten to death here, I am somewhat surprised there hasn't been anything posted here on our second tallest player on the roster, regardless if he is a walkon. At a minimum would have thought he could at least be a warm body to throw at bigger teams when we run into foul trouble.

He is likely not better than Duke so if we need that warm body after Myles and Carter are sitting, we have it.

Duke’s performance has been really weak so the fact that Luke hasn’t played is surprising but telling. Would like to see what he could do as the third option.

Everyday these guys practice. Luke has the ability to show the staff he can compete at this level.

We have Duke for that. Shaq barely plays if Myles stays out of foul trouble. If he were of use in a game, he would be used. You said you were surprised - if you haven't seen him in practice then why are you surprised? Height doesn't equal playing time in the best conference in the country. You keep talking about size, but what you mean is height. Luke might be slightly taller than Douc but he does not have a Big Ten body at all. He's not playing because he's not good enough and Douc is better. If he was better Coach would play him, obviously. Douc has not been good, but that doesn't mean any other guy with height is better.

Yeah, I think we can all agree there's a reason Pikiell is coaching and I'm here posting on a message board. It's just hard for me to see Luke in warmups and not wonder out loud on a message board.
