If we go 10-10 or better in conference, he would have accomplished that with:

-Two key starters leaving after portal closed
-Picking up 4 portal players off of injury
-Playing 1/3 season without Mag
-Playing 2/3 season without JWill and Ogbole
-Despite new pieces, still best defense in B1G

Long way to go, but still. Excitement is back!

Good post. This will happen only if Pike and the team succeed in what you suggested.

No, plenty of talent but none of our players are go to scorers. With Williams the pressure is off. He can create and everyone else can feed off of it. The roster has plenty of talent once they find their role..

Exactly. The sports equivalent of taking lemons and making lemonade.
 
The year Eugene abandoned us in the middle of the night was an impressive job too. It was suppose to be our break out year, tourney hopes. And the best player and leader turned his back on the young guys. For that team to man up, and overcome it - was a master piece
