Discussion about Wimbush on the BWI board. It doesn't appear he gets to play this year unless someone gets injured. Wimbush may be the backup in his junior year.

Wimbush is said to be the most talented and fasted of the three QBs at ND with the strongest arm. However, if the Spring game is any indication, he still has a long way to go to catch up to Kizer and Zaire in terms of game management, reads, etc. He likely will redshirt this year.

Problem for him is that there's always 1 or 2 shiny new pennies getting recruited every year at ND. If they have a shot at a 5-star, Wimbush will likely move down the depth chart or change positions. For positions like QB, as a HS recruit playing time in college should be a priority IMO.

He will probably transfer waiting 3 years to play when they continue to recruit 5 stars QBs the next 2 years. Kizer is a sophomore like Wimbush.

Wont matter, he wont play this year anyway, played abit last year. They will redshirt him this yr, so he hits his jnr yr able to play three yrs either way.
