Win the next four or it’s over

3-1 any combo and they’re alive . Especially if the 3 would happen to be MSU, Illinois, Michigan

So not losing games at ranked teams later in the season is your expectation. OK
I said 3-1 keeps us alive .. if Rutgers goes 11-9 in conference to finish 18-13 with wins against MSU, Illinois, Michigan, @Nebraska and wins 2 in the tourney they def could get in . We won’t know til we see the bubble though at the time

The record would then be 13-10 with eight games remaining against some of the toughest teams in the B1G Ten.Rutgers is running out of likely wins.Losing to Penn State is a bad loss.

BIGTourney will depend a lot on matchups and is in Indy. I think Rutgers actually matches up well against a team like Penn State. And since the top 6 or so seeds in the BIG Tournament might have Big Dance bids already locked up it could get interesting.

You want to have a chance? You can start by starting JDavis at the one and Dylan at the two. Davis will have less opportunities to score because he is initiating the offense, and Dylan can be set up more to score off the ball. Dylan is a two guard in college anyway IMO. JMike is the only true PG on the team, and the offense runs better with him on the floor. He handles better than anyone on the team and he is quicker than anyone on the team. After making this change, settle on eight players that don't ever include Acuff, and there is no need to make substitutions until at least seven minutes into the game. If you make substitutions earlier then only make one at a time. Right now, everything's a mess.

Acuff is done starting, but jmike as the answer? He’s a liability out there playing 4 vs 5 on offense, and he’s not a good enough ball handler or play maker to play the 1

It’s not a bad loss lol .Idiotic to say. It’s a quad 1 loss. Was it a winnable game? Sure

As a PG scoring is not as important. Get to where you need to get to initiate the offense and get everyone involved. Harper is a great player, but he doesn't do a great job at this. And excuse me but who on the team is a better ball handler than JMike? JWill is awfull at PG, Derkack can't play there. The only other one is Harper, and he gets more shots as a 2-guard if these idiots run something for him. Your 2-guard is your scoring guard, at least on a good team.

its a loss to a team likely not going to ncaa tourney and one you pretty much have to win when you have an incredibly flimsy resume and are just one game above 500 overall. RU is 1-3 in Big 10 road games and these 4 all were against good but not great teams. Two more winnable road games vs NW and Wash and then 4 more vs Pur, oreg, mich, md...maybe only one of those winnable

I don’t really think Rutgers is realistically good enough to win the BIGTEN Tourney but given the fact that upsets happen and the fact that some teams will already have Big Dance tickets punched, a deep run isn’t impossible. It being in Indy doesn’t help though IMO.

Well there you go

in spite of all the evidence to the contrary, there are enough scarlet colored glasses wearers to believe that this team is capable of the impossible. smh.

The next four games? MSU is playing lights out. Michigan and Illinois are both very formidable. Northwestern is playing very well. 4-0? 3-1? Based on how poorly Rutgers played tonight, 1-3 is more likely. 0-4 would not be a total surprise. This is not a good team.

Just make the Big Ten tourney and hope Ace / Dylan go on a heater. It’s the only way…
Ace/Dylan have been on heaters through their first 19 games. It’s the land of the misfits that they are surrounded with that are causing the problems playing hero ball.

just for the sake of making yourself even sicker... there are 0 other teams in the NCAA that have 2 scorers ranked in the top 25 in the country in scoring let alone top 50
