Women Soccer vs MSM

According to Twitter RU leads 1-0 ... my RU subscription shows a scoreless Purdue game

I reported it to BTN and they claim to have escalated the problem for a fix. You might want to also report it. Go to the main BTN2Go screen and at the top, select "..." - that will take you to Live Chat

Excellent win. The ladies are just feeling it. Chemistry & teamwork are outstanding. They are just sharp. Nicole Whitley & Amirah Ali with two goals each. Britt LaPlant & Brianna Starr each with their first of the year & Carina Hendly with one. Very happy to see Britt get her first. She is playing with confidence & will add more fire power up front. Alaysia Lane rang one off the post.

Drexel this Sunday at 1pm at Yurcak.

I read in the recap that this was the highest scoring output in 26 years. The last time we hung 7 goals on someone was vs Temple in a 7-0 rout in 1991.

Have not seen this kind of offensive ability in the 5 or 6 years that I have been closely following this team. We are deep with strikers & with speed. First time I have seen Amirah Ali & she appears to be something else-- speed, plus unbelievable foot work. Alaysia Lane also has excellent speed & skill. Brittany LaPlant is fast with excellent foot work. Carina Hendley is very fast with improved skills. Colby Ciarrocca does not quite have the top end speed of the others but is not slow by any means, plus she is skilled, experienced & very crafty. We also have other talented forwards as well. That's not to mention our middies who can also find the back of the goal. Can't overlook Drexel or George Mason but Georgetown will tell us something.

Until Georgetown try keeping everything in perspective. The offense is very much improved, caseys back, all great.. But msm is several classes below ours and frankly could not defend themselves. So all looks good but not as good as thursday might imply

I left in the ending moments of the first half after goal four. (The dining hall closed at 8 last night.) When I reached my bike, they scored another. By the time I got out of the parking lot it was 6-0. I think this was just a complete mismatch.

Very disappointed in their inability to score in the second half. Truly a sign that our program is in decline. [roll]

I'm well aware of that. Regardless, have never seen our teams score like this against lesser competition in the past. Believe I indicated in my previous post that Georgetown would tell us something.

4 shut outs ... not too shabby ... with Casey back ... confident RU can beat anybody!

This. We have multiple scoring options. Will be critical as season wears on.
