I have not been a big fan of CVS's stewardship of the program the last few years, including her revolving door of assistant coaches, , nor I am a big fan of her contract extension. having sad that, I have to take my hat off to what she has put on the floor this year. With a team composed largely of transfers and with loss of some good players from last year, the team has looked, frankly, very, very good this. But for an inexplicable mailed-it-in loss to WSU, and a close loss to last year's national champion, they are undefeated and playing excellent basketball. Tyler Scaife, the last true-blue chipper CVS has brought in here, is playing at a national POY level despite missing last season. We are also seeing a nice rotation of a large number of players with disparate skill sets.
