Impressive thrashing of OSU tonight, 15-5. I still am critical of Brand Sias and think the team is winning in spite of her, but i can appreciate the total destruction of a B1G opponent for 1 night.

Bump...WLax is demolishing another inferior opponent....Niagara 16-6 with 15 mins to go in the game. It will be interesting to see how the team matches up with NW and Hopkins later in the season. Maryland and PSU are 1/2 in B1G, 3 through 5 is up for grabs between RU, Hopkins and NW.
This is more good news. Isn't this a program that just last year was losing to "inferior programs" like Niagara. I recall them having an atrocious record and some here were calling for the coaches head. But then late in the season, they defeated OSU and perhaps one other B1G team and have been doing much better this year. What brought about this turnaround?

And that's the one area of scepticism I have. Has Brand Sias ever lead WLax to the dance? At 7-4 the team is in the right direction, but she would've been fired years ago at almost every other major school...going over a decade with no NCAA tourney appearances.
She is 123-125 (Has the most wins of any coach we have ever had but the 2nd best winning %). I do not think she has ever gotta them to the tournament and i believe we have only gotten there once (under the previous head coach). She has only had 3 10+ win seasons (2003, 2007, 2010).
I was wrong. She has created consistency. Consistently being mediocre.
Let's hope as I swear the woman has nine lives and should've been fired years ago.
