Well the season is over and it is time to start the thread of Coach Brand must go. She has had 14 years here and if Hobbs gives her anymore years it just shows me he only cares about football and men's basketball. This is another sport where New Jersey clearly has the best players in the country yet her combination of poor coaching and recruiting has resulted in a team mired in mediocrity for the past 14 years. If he brings in the right coach this team could be in a final four within 2-3 years! Please do the right thing Hobbs

I can tell you 100% he cares for more than just hoops and football.
He spent a ton of time at the MLAX game this weekend, and is doing all the right things to make the program more successful. It's night and day between him and the last AD.
He is the best AD we have had. Already. Totally gets it.

I agree he is by far the best AD we have had but Cali you know as shown by the men with right coach you can turn things around quickly and she is just not the right coach
I wouldn't say quickly, Rich. It took Brian 5 years to get closer to the results he wants, but that was fighting with one hand behind his back with a faulty AD. With Pat at the helm, that is catapulted the program to new heights. You have to believe it would have happened sooner had Pat been here the whole time, but still. Should be a lesson to those with such high football hopes in year two. These things take time. Lots of it.

We had 2 sports with a winning record in B1G play ... I'd say RU fans are patient and know it will take time to win in a better conference. WLax seems like a sport that can turnaround in 1-2 years (might need a new coach) ... it is a popular sport in NJ.
Women's lax is highly competitive across the country. It's not a 1 or 2 year turn around unless the current coach is recruiting well. That I can't answer, but if she was, you'd think she'd be more successful.
